60 Minute Massage

Sessions start with a short series of questions to address any concerns and to better understand your specific needs. Treatment can be more general or focused work may be suggested, should there be a chronic or acute area of concern. This can include myofascial treatment, deep tissue, cupping, or guasha as an example. The purpose is to promote relaxation and nervous system regulation, reduce general stress, muscular and fascial health, better sleep, improved blood flow, and  lymphatic movement. Regular visits encourage skin elasticity and muscle recovery.

90 Minute Massage

Following intake and goal setting, a 90-minute massage therapy session provides extended, unrushed time to thoroughly address tension, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation. It’s ideal when you want more than a standard session to focus on multiple areas, receive a combination of techniques, or work through chronic or complex muscle issues. Aftercare and rebooking, as well as any comments or concerns will be addressed after the session.

Benefits

  • More comprehensive attention: Extra time allows the therapist to treat the whole body and spend additional time on problem areas without rushing.

  • Deeper relaxation: Longer sessions help shift the nervous system from fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest, improving sleep and stress recovery.

  • Better outcomes for chronic issues: Repeated, thorough work on adhesions, postural imbalances, and mobility deficits can produce longer-lasting improvement.

  • Enhanced recovery: Useful for athletes or those recovering from overuse; helps reduce soreness and support tissue repair.

Thai Bodywork

Thai bodywork is a traditional healing practice from Thailand that blends gentle movement, assisted stretching, acupressure, and rhythmic compressions to release tension, increase flexibility, and restore energy balance. The practitioner uses hands, forearms, elbows, knees, and feet to guide the client into passive yoga-like positions, helping lengthen muscles and open joints without active effort from the client.

What to expect in a session

  • Clothing: Sessions are usually done fully clothed in loose, comfortable garments—no oils or lotions are typically used.

  • Table or mat: Work can be performed on a padded mat on the floor (traditional) or on a massage table, depending on the therapist’s style and client preference.

  • Communication: The practitioner will check in about comfort, any injuries, and areas of focus. Clear feedback during stretches and pressure adjustments is encouraged.

  • Pace and intensity: Thai bodywork can range from very gentle and restorative to firmer, deeper work tailored to the client’s needs.
