My Approach

Seems fitting that you’d be curious about how I work with you. You may know many different techniques, but a practitioner should take a style and put their own personality into it. I blend technique, intuition, and care to create a session that’s uniquely yours. My approach is first and foremost slow. I take time to assess and let the tissue guide me. If an area feels particularly stuck, I will take my time to sink in. I believe that with a good pace, communication, and presence I can read whether to go further or move on.

  • Initial conversation: I start by listening—your concerns, goals, areas of tension, and any medical notes. That helps me tailor the session and set clear expectations.

  • Assessment: I check posture, range of motion, and tense areas so the work is targeted and safe.

  • Custom plan: I choose and combine techniques (Swedish, myofascial release, trigger-point work, deep tissue, stretching, etc.) based on what you need in that moment, not a rigid checklist.

  • Communication during the session: I check pressure and comfort, inviting feedback so I can adjust tempo, depth, and focus as we go.

  • Intuitive adjustments: While technique is the framework, I use intuition—reading tissue feedback and your body language—to shift approach when it will help you most.

  • Aftercare and follow-up: I recommend stretches, hydration, self-care tips, and, when helpful, a plan for follow-up sessions to maintain progress.

My aim is a session that feels professional, grounded, and personal—skilled hands guided by listening, respect, and your comfort.
